ROUTING INFORMATION
Bus routes are developed annually by the Transportation Department in coordination with school administrators. To maintain consistency and safety, routes and stops may only be changed with authorization from the MHRD Board of Education (or its designee), except in cases of immediate safety concerns or severe weather.
- Stop Assignments: Bus stops are assigned based on the student’s primary residence on file..
- Availability: Transportation details—including route numbers, stop locations, and estimated times—will be posted to the Parent Portal by mid-August.
- Change Requests: All requests must be submitted via the District Transportation Center Helpdesk.
- Requests submitted by the third Friday in August will take effect on the first day of school.
- Requests received after this deadline may not be implemented until the second Monday after school begins.
- Hazardous Routes: Streets designated as hazardous by the Board of Education are considered “non-crossing.” For these routes, bus stops will always be located on the same side of the road as the student’s residence.
