Federal Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations mandate random drug and alcohol testing of employees who are required to have a commercial driver’s license (“CDL”) for their job. The tests will be unannounced and administered in accordance with Federal regulations and established procedures outlined in the district’s comprehensive drug and alcohol testing policy. Given the district’s Zero Tolerance policy, a positive alcohol and/or drug test will result in the termination of employment.
